Join us from the 21st – 28th of September 2019. Awaken your spirit of adventure, find authenticity and connect to mother nature. An amazing 7 night once-in-a-lifetime yogic journey into the heart of magical Sri Lanka.
Location
You will be living amongst nature in a one-off affordable setting that is both environmentally sustainable and socially conscious of the local community.
The safari tents allow you to escape into the jungle and truly connect to what is around you within you. You will sleep under the shooting stars, drifting off to the sounds of nature and ocean waves.
Have a life changing and totally different experience at the unique and incredibly idyllic Camp Poe.
Located in Ahangama, on the south coast of Sri Lanka.
Yoga
The day will consist of two yoga classes. Beginning the day with a dynamic vinyasa sequence and ending with a more playful, explorative/restorative yoga practice. Alongside the physical practice, guests can experience pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.
Ro teaches Quantum Yoga which is a system of personal practice and optimization that uses vinyasa flow and Ayurvedic assessment. As Quantum physics itself has proven, any activity done with greater awareness has a more powerful transformative effect.
By bringing your attention into the the body-mind by the use of Ayurveda (Yoga’s “sister science” which recognizes your individual nature and helps find your true path on this earth), Ro’s classes leave you more harmonious, healthy, happy and in true balance with yourself and the now. Each guest will be invited to find out their true nature or ‘Prakriti’ by doing an aryuvedic assessment at the beginning of the week. You will be encouraged to become more present and aware, thus allowing you to get the most out of your practice during the retreat and later during your yoga practice at home.
During the week we will also have Ben Stevenson as a guest teacher as well as sunset beach yoga session. All practices are open to all levels from beginners to more advanced yogis.
