Pea and Basil Hummus (Ve)

This hummus is light and fresh, you can serve it on rivita or use as a dip for chopped veg.

It is ridiculously easy, all have to do is combine these ingredients and blend with a handheld blender.

275g fresh peas (could try it with cooked frozen peas but would not be as good).

Half a clove of garlic.

10 basil leaves.

Juice of half a lemon.

1 tbl olive oil.

2 tbl tahini.

Generous pinches of salt and pepper.


I love this as an alternative to chickpea hummus.
